Hamirpur/Vivekananda Vashisht :- Hamirpur Hundreds of religious and social organization workers organized a dharna demonstration at Hamirpur district headquarters under the joint aegis of Hamirpur Nagrik Manch. Addressing the event, Vishwa Hindu Parishad Himachal Pradesh Co-minister Pankaj Bhartiya expressed his concern over the pitiable condition of Hindus in Bangladesh.
Social organizations demanded withdrawal of Yunus’ Nobel Prize
He said that the leadership of Bangladesh is in its hands today and it was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006, but today Hindus are facing so many atrocities in Bangladesh that the Hindu community has been forced to migrate from there.
He demanded from His Excellency President of India and United Nations to withdraw the Nobel Prize of acting Prime Minister of Bangladesh Mohammad Yunus. He said that this double character cannot establish an ideal in a civilized society. On this occasion, Pankaj Bhartiya said that the Hindus of Bangladesh are proudly engaged in the struggle for their existence and the Hindus of the entire India are standing shoulder to shoulder with the Hindus of Bangladesh.
He said that at the time of the formation of Bangladesh, the population of Hindus there was 21 percent, which has come down to just 7 percent today. He said that wherever Jihadi mentality flourishes, there is great oppression on the followers of other religions. He demanded from the central government that whatever action is necessary to secure the position of Hindus in Bangladesh should be done, whether it is a surgical strike or making Bangladesh a part of Akhand Bharat.
The central government should take steps for the protection of Hindus all over the world. He said that today ISKCON saint Chinmay Das has been imprisoned in Bangladesh jail, his lawyer has been put in a dying state. Till some time ago, this same ISKCON organization was engaged in providing food to the citizens of Bangladesh during the epidemic without asking their religion, caste, opinion, sect. He said that these people with a distorted mindset are engaged in digging their own family, their own roots. He also reiterated the demand for the safety of Sant Chinmay Das and his immediate release.
On this occasion, Sant Shiromani Sarveshwaranand Saraswati Ji Maharaj called upon all the people present to unite and awaken and enlighten the society. He said that wherever people with a distorted mindset have reached, the society has been ruined there. He made the Hindu society take a pledge to chant the name of Lord Shri Ram and Bajrangbali Hanuman every day.
On this occasion, Surjeet Thakur, President of Devbhoomi Sangharsh Samiti expressed his concern about the increasing number of divisive people in different parts of the country. He called upon all Sanatanis to unite and come on one platform and display their strength.
On this occasion, MLA Indra Dutt Lakhanpal, former MLA Kamlesh Kumari, District BJP President Desh Raj Sharma, District Council Member Pawan Kumar, Vishwa Hindu Parishad District President Sanjay Goswami, Durga Vahini Co-coordinator Priyanka Sarol, Bindu Kumari, along with officials of various organizations, including Vyapar Mandal Hamirpur, Naidun, Thakur Ram Singh Trust Tipper, Research Institute Neri, All Welfare Organization Sujanpur, Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu Godiya Math Dangdi, Shri Khand Hamir Sarvhit Kalyan Samiti Hamirpur, Senior Citizens Organization Hamirpur, through their organizations sent a memorandum to His Excellency the President through the Deputy Commissioner Hamirpur.
